Nationally, police misconduct has cost taxpayers $1.5 billion+ in settlements and verdicts. KCSO's 2024 community survey undercounted Hispanic Kern by 30.8 points and over-represented White respondents by 18.6. Then it published "66% feel safe" while our data recorded 83% critical-violation flights as low as 106 ft over homes.
